Having just returned from sunning myself (responsibly) in daily 38-degree weather, it's understandable that summer is on my mind! And with temperatures crawling up in the UK and schools heading into their final couple of weeks, dog-loving families around the country will be planning a short, sweet escape from the rat race.

At Dogs Trust we hear many reasons for why people have to hand their dog in for rehoming. A common one is that the accommodation the owner is moving to is unsuitable for a pet.
