If it ain't got a dog in it, we don't want it!
I am spending increasing amounts of time dealing with complaints about non-dog photos and then even more time writing to the kennel owner asking for them to be removed. To stop this getting any worse I am appealing to all our members to remember that this is a dog website. Everyone who uses it is interested, primarily, in dogs and they don't want to see your children's latest school photo, the safari to Kenya last year, your cat, hamster, snake, cockatiel, parrot, goldfish or metal dog ornament.
Please remember that when you joined DoggySnaps (the clue is in the title) you agreed to abide by our rules.
Here are the two most important ones again:
-Every photo must contain a dog and one of the dogs has to be your own.
-You must own the photo you are uploading.
I don't mind if you want to show us a photo of your family, holiday, hamster, cat, iguana or tarantula as long as you have your dog in the picture as well. I would be most grateful if anyone with photos that fall outside these rules would remove them as soon as possible. To save time I will now delete these photos without contacting you via email first. I hope you understand. Thank you very much for your assistance in this and please keep letting me know when you come across any inappropriate material.

We agree - no cats
It would be a catastrophy if you allow cats onto this site, it would make all the dogs very nervous and undettled!!!
