Exciting days ahead for Dogs Trust online
It's been an exciting week so far... and it's only Tuesday! Today we got a first look at some of the new updates that are going to take place on the main Dogs Trust website towards the end of the summer. The launch dates for these things always change, so I can't say exactly when, but it's going to look ridiculously good and hopefully make it easier than ever for people to find all the information they need, get updates on their sponsor dogs or make a donation.
DoggySnaps is due some TLC too, and it's getting quite a bit of care and attention these days. That sometimes means that the odd weird error happens but hopefully within the coming weeks and months all the reasons for these will be revealed. Personally I can't wait to see the changes take place as I really believe they are what DoggySnaps users have been waiting for.
Community has always been what the Internet is about, and now charities are getting the chance to raise money, spread awareness and create a closer relationship with the supporters for whom they are so grateful. Dogs Trust has always had plenty of communication from brilliant fans and supporters, with letters coming in day after day telling us about rehomed dogs or enclosing gifts for sponsor dogs. With more sites than ever (Facebook, bebo, MySpace, Twitter and more!) letting us get to know our members and donors, we hope to spread the word and help more dogs than ever before. Onwards!
