Calling all shoppers! Enterprising DoggySnappers in the area, raising money for Dogs Trust

Posted by Built in Administrator at 06 May 08 16:07

We know from our shopping poll that you like splashing out your hard-earned cash on all manner of things from doggy treats to holidays. A few enterprising DoggySnappers have gone a step further and created businesses from which they pledge to give a donation to Dogs Trust every time a loyal member of our community makes a purchase.

Here are just three of the shops publicising their wares (with our permission) on the forums.

1. Affordable Beauty 4 U - The best way to smell great and help dogs! This online designer fragrance store offers great discount vouchers but if you sign up with 'DSM' after your name, they'll know you're a DoggySnaps member. After that, any purchase you make will result in a donation to Dogs Trust.

2. Matsart Pet Portraits - a stunning oil painting created from your own photograph is a wonderful present for yourself or others. A professional pet artist since 1993, W. Martin is offering a donation to Dogs Trust with every portrait commissioned by a DoggySnapper. Prices start at £140, and I strongly suggest you take a look at the painstakingly detailed past works on the website.

3. Shampoo(ch) Shop - having sent Shampooch to a number of DoggySnaps members, 'Pogels Mom' could see it was popular. She is now pledging to donate £1 from every 1litre bottle sold to Dogs Trust. All Shampooch is cruelty-free with no artificial colours or scents. You can read more about it (along with user testimonials!) on the forum thread.

If you've had a great idea and want to offer your services to other DoggySnaps members (and a donation to Dogs Trust), please email me (editor@doggysnaps.com) to request permission.
